I had a lovely week with Beatrice. I chose to forgo formal classes in favour of conversation while exploring Toulon and the surrounding area. Beatrice is a wonderful cook and a great guide to her area. We visited farmers markets, bakeries, wine shops and more and I felt like a true French girl. We walked along the waterfront and visited some lovely hidden gems. She mentioned a friend who worked with immigrants and when I expressed interest in learning more, she connected me with her friend. I was able to visit their program which was a great addition to my week.

Beatrice kindly corrected my mistakes. Her house is charming and the bungalow I stayed in was very comfortable. I had a very enjoyable week and felt that my understanding had improved. Thank you Beatrice!
